Ich war schon einigermaßen skeptisch als ich las, dass aus der google-Schmiede nun auch ein Self-help Buch kommt, das an doch schon sehr "intime" Themen, wie z.B. persönliche Werte oder Spiritualität, andockt. Nicht umsonst versuche ich mich wo es geht dem "big brother" zu entziehen. Am Ende war ich begeistert.Chade-Meng Tan gelingt es, einen großen "Rundumschlag" durch die Themen zu führen, die gerade viele Menschen beschäftigen: von Achtsamkeit und Resilienz über Meditation und Entspannung bis hin zu persönlicher Zielsetzung und Lebensvision. Und all dies ohne einen religiösen oder übersteigert spirituellen Hintergrund. Sondern aus Sicht und im Stile eines pragmatischen Ingenieurs, der am liebsten den Kern eines Themas bearbeitet und möglichst einfache und wirksame Methoden bzw. Lösungen sucht. Genau deshalb mag ich das Buch sehr. Die Themen werden gründlich aufgearbeitet, mit einer klaren Empfehlung ... aber in einem Stil, der einem am Ende die Entscheidung selbst überlässt, die eine oder andere Technik oder Herangehensweise vom Buffet zu nehmen und selbst auszuprobieren.Ein guter Einstieg in die o.g. Themen, der dann sicher auch Lust macht, das eine oder andere Thema jenseits von Chade-Meng Tan weiter zu vertiefen.

Das Buch gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich habe schon viel daraus gezogen. Die Übungen sind leicht auszuführen. Der Autor greift das Thema "Achtsamkeit" in einer völlig unkomplizierten Art auf und macht Mut, dabeizubleiben. So kommt man voran.

Wer hier schon angekommen ist und den Weg zu diesem Buch gefunden hat, für den gibt es kein Argument mehr es nicht zu kaufen. Auch sehr zu empfehlen sind die Bücher von Mooji. Ich hatte früher selber viele Probleme in meinem Leben, seit den beiden Schriftstellern allerdings sind sie weg und das Gute daran ist: Sie werden nie mehr wieder kommen. Om Nama Shivaya :-)
