Wer sich hier in solcher Menge und Form über die Grafiken des Buches "beschwert" sollte das Buch und seine Themen vorerst einmal studieren und sich auf den Weg machen - ich empfinde das als eine ziemliche Konsumhaltung gegenüber dem Autor.Die Grafiken sind wie sie sind, trotzdem hilfreich.Das Buch ist was es in der Einleitung verspricht; relativ überschaubar und gut nachvollziehbar erläutert wird der Weg oder die Philosophie des Yoga.Ich finde es klasse und es wird mir auf meinem Weg sicherlich die eine oder andere Hilfestellung geben können, Bereiches des Weges einfach nachvollziehen zu können.

Dieses Buch ist eine super Unterstützung für jeden Yoga-Interessierten. Die Texte sind sehr informativ, die Yogaphilosophie wird übersichtlich und gut erklärt. Ich habe einen besseren Überblick zum Thema bekommen und kann die verschiedenen Yogathemen jetzt viel besser einordnen. Einige der Graphiken waren für mich sehr hilfreich, da ich auch zu den Leuten gehöre, die in Bildern denken.Aber müssen die Graphiken so schlecht designed sein? Die einzige Graphik in Farbe ist bezeichnenderweise die auf dem Titel. Innen geht es schwarz-weiß zu. Die Qualität der Graphiken ist mau und die meisten sind nichtssagend. Nach dem Motto, hier muss irgendwie auch noch eine hin, haben wir ja schließlich auf dem Titel versprochen.Ich empfehle das Buch sehr, aber man sollte es nicht kaufen, wenn man es hauptsächlich wegen der Graphiken auswählen möchte.

Normalerweise muss ich mir zu jedem Yoga Text selber eine graphische Darstellung machen, weil ich so den Stoff viel besser lernen kann, Bilder lassen sich viel einfacher einprägen und schaffen Klarheit. Ich empfehle jedem Yoga Philosophie Neuling, der auch in Bildern denkt, dieses Buch als erstes zu lesen, danach ist es viel einfacher die grossen Wälzer zu verstehen, weil man schon eine Uebersicht hat.
