Luijpers pocht auf die Wichtigkeit des Gehens, welche positive Wirkungen auf unsere Gesundheit hat. Viele Krankheiten können so vermieden werden und eine Lebensverlängerung erreicht werden. Seine Übungen assoziiert Luijpers and er Feldenkrais-Methode. Hier soll jeder erkennen wie er sich bewegt, mittels sanfter Übungen soll die Beweglichkeit verbessert werden. Neben den Übungen werde noch die positiven Aspekte von Pilgern, Wandern oder Atmung erwähnt. Der Leser erhält ausserdem Informationen über das Outfit der Schuhe, wobei weniger mehr ist, rät Luijpers doch des öfteren zu Barfusslaufen, wo der Kontakt zum Untergrund seine Wichtigkeit hat. Von Schuhen mit Dämmungseffekten wird abgeraten, besser eignen sich Barfussschuhe.Insgesamt ein aufklärendes Buch über unsere natürlichste Bewegungsart, wobei man das Gehen nachher aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachtet. Luijpers bietet selbst Kurse an, wo er die Kursteilnehmer zur optimalen Gangart begleitet.

Jahrelang hatte ich Bandscheibenprobleme. Mit DMSO habe ich es geschafft, ein komplettes Jahr schmerzfrei zu sein. Nun wurde mir dieses Buch empfohlen. Schon nach der ersten Übrung (Entspannunghocke) fingen die Probleme an. Nach nur einer Woche bin ich wieder auf dem Schmerzniveau von vor einem Jahr. Vielen Dank Herr Luijpers. Bin ja selber schuld. Man soll eben nicht jedem selbsternannten Experten glauben.

Nach ca. 2 jährigen Fersenschmerzen, ohne Hilfe des Besuchs von Orthopäden, ohne Hilfe einer Physiotherapie, kaufte ich mir diese Buch.Schon nach kurzer Zeit nach Erlernen der Übungen und konsequenter täglicher Ausführung verschwanden meine Fersenschmerzen.Meine Beweglichkeit hat sich sichtbar verbessert, ich kann dieses Buch jedem empfehlen.Ich könnte viele Sterne mehr vergeben, eine klare Kaufempfehlung!!!
